My Peacetree Archives

Way back in 2009, I published my first post on a Blogger site I named My Peacetree. I imagined the site to be a tree I could come and sit under, ponder my life and my world, and find some peace in the midst of a difficult time.

Over the next few years I wrote about creativity, art journaling, healing from trauma, and the world around me. My last post was published in 2017, and I retired the site in 2018.

Nonetheless, many of the things I wrote still hold true and continue to inspire me more than a decade later. To honor My Peacetree, and the person that wrote there so fervently so long ago, I have republished some of my favorite posts from the site.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

A Note

You matter. You’re loved. And, just so you know, creativity belongs to every single one of us. It’s a human birthright.
